your obvously a bunch of morons, loud cans save lives. Il be sure by to come by specially and visit your town of ignorance and stupidity.
If any of your “Special” group had a millionth of a brain cell you would welcome motorcyclists. They bring money in tourism, since 80% of motorcyclists are car drivers thats significantly less cars and as a result less traffic and space taken up. These motorcyclists are a huge cross section of every profession and background in a common hobby and for many sole method of transportation.

No doubt you are retired and ignorant having never had the balls to try and ride. Or you still think todays motorcyclists are “the wild ones” or the other sterotypical stupidity.

99% of accident are caused by car drivers, reflective gear, bright lights, and loud cans are proven to work.

For us, the main reason to shimmy round the foundation was so that we could jump off the back – at high tide of course.

As for the light’s importance to photographers, there are probably guidebooks from Germany to Japan that would have to be rewritten if this ‘photo op’ disappeared. Glad to hear you guys are on it!

Someone posted this on Facebook, and I have to say I’d never thought of this, but I love the idea! I have lived just outside downtown Charlottetown for most of my life, and find it discouraging just how many empty storefronts and unused buildings there are – this would be a wonderful solution to that issue.

Everyday I leave work and proceed to the Peter Pan intersection. Waiting at the lights I always see tourists going straight into the parking lot at the Mall and turning around. Immediately I know that they didn’t make a turn. Now, that can be blamed on this one thing. On Capital Drive there is a 2′x 2′ sign indicating where University Ave/City Centre is. It is easily missed and rarely is the right-hand lane recognized by them that this is the road to the city. Hence the mulptple turns in the Mall parking lot.
There needs to be a large overhead sign indicating Route #2 and the city centre. Otherwise you will still have people coming across Spencer to Mt. Edward (when they decide to extend it) turning around because they are lost or missed a turn. This city is way behind the times for proper signage. Lately though there has been an initiative to correct this. But it is not entirely completed. First the access to the bypass on the Causeway has six signs. Who has time to read six signs when one will do overhead. Then there needs to be a sign before the Peter Pan corner.
Extending Spencer is a no brainer, but lets resolve a bigger issue in moving traffic to it’s proper location instead of this mess we have now.
