I’m looking for a young person to serve on the city’s Youth Advocacy Advisory Board which I’ve just been asked to chair. This committee will provide guidance to the city on matters of interest to our youth, particularly those who cannot or do not participate in large popular programs such as minor hockey.
I will accept recommendations if you know anyone, or if you are someone, that would be interested in serving on this committee. I only have one position to fill. If I receive more than one candidate I will update this post when someone is chosen.

This site will undergo a complete overhaul in the near future. I’ve been putting some thought into what I might do to transition ward3brighton.ca from a campaign website into something that will be more useful and informative for residents over the course of my term as councillor. I’ve got some ideas, but it will take some time (the free kind of which I have very little these days) for me to put all the pieces in place. Please be patient. In the end I hope to have space where I can continue to blog, and perhaps a space for resident guest bloggers (blogitorials?), and maybe even a open topic free-for-all forum where residents can chew the fat on any number of city issues. Stay tuned.
