Thank You Brighton!

I’m too busy right now to write much, but I’d just like to express my appreciation to all the residents of Ward 3. I’m looking forward to working on behalf of Brighton. It was a pleasure meeting so many of you, and my only regret is that I underestimated how much time would be required to visit every house in the ward. I simply ran out of door-knocking days, but I estimate I reached about 80% of households in the ward.

When I have time I’d like to catch up on some stories I wanted to share here. Campaign blogging took a backseat occasionally to some of the dozens of other tasks I was juggling throughout the last four weeks.

Thank you!

Congrats Rob! I was on the Elections website most of last night watching… CBC.CA was down (still is) so the coverage was fairly sparse. Hoping for an update when you get a chance. You must be so proud…I know we’re all proud of you here in Ontario.

Well, Rob. Where are you? Twelve posts in 32 days before the election, two posts the day after the election, then nothing. I hope you don’t become like the other city councillors (“if we don’t tell the residents, they won’t get mad and oppose us”).

What do you think about the proposed changes to the zoning on Ambrose Street that the city has advertised? The public meeting is happening tomorrow evening (Tuesday Dec. 5th) at the Charlottetown Hotel. This was originally opposed by the residents years ago; now the city is at it again.
